Good but could be better

I bought this as replacement for an old GE undercabinet micro. Overall, it works fine. However, install instructions leave a bit to be desired (e.g., lots of templates provided, little instructions). Unit cord sticks out in back making it deeper than published measurements. GE could have printed control panel in a brighter color to make it is easier to operate.

Size Matters

Just installed so I have no idea about product reliability. However, this microwave is VERY QUIET, and heats food quickly. If you are looking for a small, powerful microwave, this is the best. I spent hours on line researching sizes as mine needed to fit into a cabinet 24X12X12. It fits perfectly. Our old GE Spacesaver lasted 12 years.

Just the right size

Bought this to fit in a upper kitchen cabinet. Only microwave I found that was just the right depth and width to have a "built in" look in an upper 12" deep cabinet.

Problems in the first two months

Bought this for a brand new house and within two months it blew a fuse. Service tech didn't really know why but you can't fix it yourself, you have to call a repairman. Love the microwaves features and it's slim enough for our butler's pantry. Just hope we don't have any more problems with it.

Fits my cabinet space perfectly.

This microwave was purchased to replace a GE JEM31BF01 which was purchased in 2006. It was used quite a lot, and just recently stopped working. This unit is smaller inside and will not accommodate some of my cooking bowls using the turntable. Also there is not a light behind the panel. I do have a larger microwave in another location, which I will be using more frequently.
