Very Disappointing

The buttons frequently don't work--they bring up a message that makes no sense. Opening the door and re-shutting it seems to reset the machine--but I don't expect that this microwave will also long. We bought it mostly because it fit in the space in our kitchen...we will consider remodeling to accommodate another brand if this ends up breaking too soon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

IN ADDITION TO THE GREAT FEATURES FOR THE PRICE, IT WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT COULD BE INSTALLED UNDER THE CABINET GIVING YOU SPACE ON THE COUNTER.

Nice overall appearance

Microwave more powerful than last. Fits into our kitchen decor. Very disappointed with timer function which only beeps once when finished. I am used to user the microwave timer for all cooking and baking--one beep is not sufficient. When I called GE, was suggested that I get a timer I can put around my neck in case I walk out of the kitchen area and don't hear the one on the microwave!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very simple to install and easy to use. Recommend if you already have double ovens with convection features and you need a microwave for easy heating, etc.

Perfect size....

This is my second GE Profile microwave. My previous one lasted for 15 years! So of course when shopping for another I went straight for GE. Love my new one- it's almost exactly like my previous one. The best feature about my new one is that it's so quite... when I first turned it on I thought maybe there was something wrong w/ it. But no, it's works perfectly. Now that's a quality appliance! Hopefully this model will last me a long time too.
