Performs Flawlessly

I made this purchase because the unit was the only one that would fit in the built-in space occupied by its GE predecessor for 15 years. It performs flawlessly.

Face front is poor plastic microwave operates fine

I had this microwave installed last October but did not move back into our home until it was complete in December. The microwave itself looks fine, operates fine but the plastic covering the key pad begin to deteriorate within one month of use. It is all bubbly and beginning to peel. I did report it to our contractor. It looks terrible as we have as a built in. I am waiting to hear back from the contractor as he said he would speak to the appliance store that sold him the product. I am disappointed in the quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Feature

This is the second one I have of this kind. First one, interior paint did not last more than 4 years. But all worked find. I did repair it and sold it. The reason I buy this models are quality and space saving feature. I install it under the kitchen cabinets with the corresponding adapter which brings the mounting templates.

Good but not perfect

Does everything well except popcorn. Burns it every time. Love that it is an under cabinet mount.

Fits on a shelf!

I needed a microwave that would fit on a shelf, since my kitchen has shelving instead of upper cabinets. I also needed an appliance that would be easy to use, since my husband is disabled. This met both requirements.

A Perfect Fit!

We recently purchased this microwave as it was to replace a white GE Space Maker II unit that was still working perfect after nearly 21 years. This is the only unit available to fit our space. When we were given the dimensions, we planned to have our opening enlarged by a carpenter. Upon getting the microwave, we discovered that is is somewhat smaller than the measurements given, so we were able to easily install it in the cabinet opening. It is perfect for our needs.

Exactly what it should be

I bought this microwave to replace a similar GE Spacemaker that lasted 29 years! It's an attractive and functional product. I mounted it from the top. My old bracket fit on the left side. But because the mounting holes are in a new position, but I had to drill two new holes for the right side. Yes, you can see about a half inch of the white bottom when the unit is top mounted. If this bothers you, you might be able to put a light coat of black paint on the bottom. This model is a lot quieter than the old unit. I don't plan to use the fancy features - I like to just set a time and power level so I'm in control.
