Not as good as predecessor!

Looks great and works as expected

In wanting to stick with the Profile line in order to match our other new appliances, we were sort of forced into this model due to space limitations with our new kitchen layout/cabinet size. It replaced an older GE model from the 80's which never gave an ounce of problems. We're hoping this unit is no different.
It performs as expected.
I wish the wattage was higher. Although since it's the same as our old model, there was no need to learn new cook times for the foods we use it for.
The trim kit is way over priced but looks great.
I like that you can push 1-6, as well as +30 seconds to get to a relatively quick start rather than the more difficult method of pushing cook+time+start.
I agree with someone else who mentioned the display does not push all that great. You have to be dead-on to get it to acknowledge your (firm) touch.

Hangs under cabinet

Love the size and fact it hangs under cabinet and doesn't sit on the cabinet.
Wish would cook popcorn better or maybe I just don't know how to use it right.

Not so excited about this microwave

After 2+ months the unit has begun to make a grinding noise when the carousel turns. I can only expect this to get louder and more pronounced. I have to press hard on the "buttons" to enter commands or time on timer. The light on the inside is very dim. The door has sharp edges and the open button is flimsy. Besides all this it burns and cooks the microwave popcorn unevenly. This doesn't fit the GE experience. I expected a better quality product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've purchased this microwave about six months ago and it has exceeded my expectations. The size is compact but can still hold large plates and dishes and it heats my food thoroughly and evenly.
