It's a microwave oven

Turntable On/Off Great!

As the review title says: The On/Off Turntable is why we bought this unit. Many times I have a larger dish I use & I can shut the turntable off & I can microwave with these larger containers. I also like the smaller size of the overall microwave. It doesn't take up so much room.

Loving the relatively quiet operation!

I bought the microwave about 3 or 4 weeks ago online, picked it up and set it up last week. The first thing I noticed, upon first use was, it is very quiet when in operation! Love all the presets like potato, vegetable, popcorn, 30sec's, etc. It is very spacious inside. It works perfectly so far for steaming and reheating. I plan on baking brownies in it tonight! Yum :)

Although for most things it seems to be ok but we have this in our companies break room and it cannot cook the small bags of popcorn.

Ok but small

Purchased a few months ago and was limited with cabinet space. I was disappointed to find out this was the only mw that would fit in the space. The door button is always loose and doesn't give you the "solid" feeling that a good appliance should. Heating time is increased vs larger ovens

GE keeps changing the dimensions

This is my third PEM GE Profile microwave. They have only lasted 7 years each. The interior surfaces have bubbled and peeled off on the last 2 after a couple of years. Mine are built into custom cabinets. Every time I have replaced one GE has changed the dimensions and I have had to have my cabinet rebuilt. This last one is similar in outside dimensions and SMALLER inside! I cannot recommend this microwave and only keep purchasing it because none others can be retrofitted into my cabinet. I have a very small kitchen with no room for a different brand or a counter top model (though that is actually what this one is).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best microwave for counterdepth cabinets.

I looked everywhere for a small depth microwave and this was the only one that would fit. It looks really nice with the trim kit that I bought for it.
