The right one for this job.

This unit was a good fit for as replacement built-in for another GE unit that died suddenly after O N L Y 1 4 Y E A R S of daily use. It was important to maintain the color, manufacturer and styling because of the double oven that was only inches away.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good replacement

I bought this model to replace an older GE that had quit working after about 6.5 years. I was disappointed that the trim kit from the old unit would not work on the new unit since this one was suppose to be direct replacement. The trim kit cost as much as the microwave. Other than that the microwave is performing well and I'm hoping it will last at least as long as the last one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad Deal !!

This Microwave is sold as Profile and there is no label- showing that. Also there is no delay function. The key is very small

OK replacement

I have had this microwave 6 mos (approx) and still haven't gotten used to its quirks. It is still working however and fits in the space we needed. It replaced a panasonic which had features we liked better

Love this microwave!

We bought this microwave recently to replace an older (1996) built-in microwave/convection oven...we rarely used that microwave's convection feature (our GE wall ovens are also convection) and it was under-powered. We LOVE this new GE microwave! Not only sleek and good-looking with the trim kit, it's exactly what we were looking for...an easy to use oven for all of our basic microwaving and defrosting tasks. As with any new appliance, we are still training ourselves to take advantage of ALL of its one touch, time-saving features...but so far we especially like and use the express cook and add-30-seconds features. We also like the continuing once a minute reminder beeps that the food in the oven is ready. The interior size has been more than adequate for the dishes and baking pans we've used.

Expensive for its worth

Wish it had easy-to-use express buttons (one minute, two minute, etc.); preset reheat and other buttons overcook/overheat food - a bit pricy for what you get
