Terrible reliability

I am on my third microwave in a year and a half. Would not replace with a GE except all of my other appliances are GE.

It only worked for 2 months. Still came on but didn't heat at all.

I bought this 2 months ago to replace an 8 year old profile which started coming on when the door opened.
I'd hoped the trim kit would match, but I needed a new one which was almost as much as the microwave.
I rate microwave itself as average because is is noisier than the previous model and the rotating base plate squeaks regularly. Functions are easy to use, but hard to set for odd time increments like :45 seconds. Nothing major, but an announce.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Liked my old Microwave better

We purchased this oven to replace on that was 12 years old. My wife really like that fact that the old one would cook certain foods with a pre programed set of instructions (say rice for example). This new over does not handle these issued well at all.
