It's only 5 months old already had to have part that glass sits on replaced. Would not recommend to someone

This is a great appliance. We redid our kitchen and we looked at stainless steel but even the non-fingerprint items left fingerprints. This slate is great.

Large capacity & quiet!

We bought this microwave to replace a 26 year old GE that I personally installed in our new house as a "built in" unit back in 1990. Options for a suitable built-in unit were limited, but a build-in kit was available for this model, and it turned out that it would be a perfect visual match for a GE Profile electric oven that I bought and installed just a few years ago over which it would be located. After having it in use now for almost a week, both my wife and I are very pleased with it. It looks great, runs quietly, cooks efficiently, can be cleaned easily, and has a wealth of advanced automated features that add user capability yet don't preclude a person from using this oven to simply heat up food to eat!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Microwave - our second Profile microwave

Our last GE Profile microwave lasted 9 years with no problems what-so-ever. We had it installed in the cabinets with the built in trim kit. We just bought a new GE Profile microwave, checked all of the sizes compared to old microwave, the old built in trim kit fit the new microwave perfectly. Looking forward to another great experience with our new GE Profile microwave.

Large capacity, looks nice

Did an entire kitchen remodel and bought the whole line. So far, so good!
Looks good. It's an in-cabinet unit, and fits nicely. It's got a large interior, which is nice. Lots of features I may never use, but that's just because I don't use microwaves very often.
I would recommend this to a friend!
