Fit the cabinet cut out from old GE microwave

I didn't want to purchase another GE microwave because the last 2 purchased over the past 30 years have both had the keyboards not work after less than 100 time of use. But... the salesperson told me that GE guarantees that new GE microwaves will fit any space that an old model fit in. The new GE Profile microwave indeed fit perfectly and is beautiful. This was a huge relief since I was dreading having to modify my customer cabinetry. Here's to hoping I get may years of use out of it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this microwave & the accompanying trim kit to replace the old microwave that burned up. Old trim kit wouldn't fit new GE model so had to purchase new kit. Microwave worked for less than a month. Ordered a replacement and it's working fine. Not sure if I got a dud the first time but hoping this second one will last a long time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
