Doesnt last

Purchased GE package for new home 3 yeats ago. Had to replace the dishwasherast year (2017) and now i have to replace this microwave. Dishwasher lasted 2 years and microwave lasted only 3. Sgame to pay to dollar for a product that doesnt last.

Bought this unit 14 months ago & it has gone dead!

We were replacing the GE microwave that was new when when we built our house in 2003. That unit lasted 13 years! We needed to stay with the same size unit as the space made to accommodate the original unit was small. Additionally, we wanted to stay with the same black, glossy finish to match all our other GE appliances that came with the house. We just passed the one year warranty period and now the unit has no power. We have checked to confirm the power source coming into the hourse is good. Very disappointing!

I just bought this microwave. The last one I had which was the same model only lasted 4 years. I had to buy the same model as it is in the wall model. It stopped working and would have cost almost as much to repair than a new one.

This is my second GE Profile Series microwave in 3 years. Built and moved into our new home Christmas 2014. Builder installed all GE appliances. I’m on my second dishwasher (first one broke after year warranty was up (went with Kitchen Aid second time around & worth the extra money so far). Microwave broke in November of 2017. Only reason I bought exact same microwave to replace it was because I didn’t want to buy another trim kit for our cabinet. Second one lasted 2 months. Yes it’s still under warranty but so disgusted with the quality of GE Appliances.

Broke just a few months after having it for 1 year. It is unfixable because GE makes bad appliances. The appliance is uglier in real life then in the picture. There are issues with the motherboard that should be checked before deciding to purchase this device, which you shouldn’t.
