Frequent repairs

I’ve had mine for almost four years. I’ve put three magnatrons in it in that time period. When it works it works fine but that is far too frequent for that kind of repair. It’s noisy too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Part of builder package and have been very happy with builder's choice. Easy to close with just a touch on top right corner of door. Cleans up easily inside.

Has all the features we use. However, prepare for the unit to only last 3 years. this is our third GEMicrowave and 3 years seems to be an average life expectancy.

This is the second GE profile micro wave that we have had. The first one gave us 12 years of service before it started to fail. We gave it away and bought the new one and were very happy to get almost the same model with only slight chages to the programng..

old ge profile microwave lasted 15 years. This one lasted only 2 1/2 years before the magnatron and diode went out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the look, but went out too soon

I bought this microwave and it went out when it was 3 years old. Too old for manufacturers warranty, but not so old that it should have gone out!
