Worst Microwave Ever

We purchased a new home From the builder, with all new appliances. From day 1 this microwave was a problem. We would try to heat up water and nothing, no heat.....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice features, poor quality

We replaced a GE microwave that finally quit after 30 years of heavy use. We decided on another GE because of this.
This microwave has died after less than 4 years of average use. We are a family of two so it isn't like it gets constant use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's been great for three years but just died.

The limited warranty is for three years, and I've been in my new home -- with an ;;entire suite of GE kitchen appliances -- for three years and 11 days. My error message is KEYPAD SHORTED...SERVICE MAY BE NECESSARY. I had to turn off the breaker to cease the incessant beeping. I'm very unhappy.

Quit working after 2.5 years

It quit hearing after 2.5 years. Started making a horrible sound and didn’t hear after that. Terrible.

I like all the options that this microwave has. I was very impressed with the service I received in the store. John was very polite and answered all my questions. I was pleased with the price I paid for this purchase. I just got it so I haven't used it yet but Im sure I will be pleased.

We purchased a brand new home with all GE Appliances, & we very light usage of 4 years the Microwave has gone out... I Registered all Appliances on line., now! this Item is no! longer Available..

Ridiculous light bulb replacement

Microwave is powerful, fast and big inside BUT it is ridiculously difficult to replace a simple bulb!!!! You have to take the ENTIRE microwave out of its built in cabinet and off the wal. What genius thought of this? Changing a simple light bulb is an all day project and it is only 3 years old!!!! No wonder why they don’t sell this anymore. EXTREMELY disappointed. I have never had a microwave light go out before and have this go out so soon is unacceptable especially with the difficulty in getting to the bulb.
