We purchased our new home October 2017.The house is a new build/so new appliances were in stalled. I have found a similar issue that other people have found with this product in the past week. The microwave just stopped working and gently used. Very discouraged about my other GE products and in purchasing a new GE Microwave.

This appliance was installed in our new home build. I feel we opted for higher end appliances for longevity and dependability. I do not feel that after 4 years a microwave of this caliber should be fried. If we had the choice from our home builder, we would NOT have gone with GE product.

Good features. Sound is loud though but I knew this purchasing from other reviews. Don't like the fact the timer won't allow for hours; just minutes. I would commonly utilize this feature for crockpot cooking with my old microwave. Not too big a deal.

Light died and is a pain to replace

Microwave works GREAT. Love it. However, the light bulb died after less than 5 years and is a PAIN to replace.

Runs. Arcs real bad. Sparks shoot out. Wife will not use it anymore. She’s scared of it.

Lasted 3.5 years then just quit!

Our last GE microwave lasted over 10 years. We replaced with this model because the old one was "built in" with a trim kit and this one fit the space. I did not like it from the beginning. The timer beeps 1 time when finished which is odd and I do not hear it half of the time. When cooking for over 5 minutes the panel gets foggy. the metal piece on the inside right keeps falling off. It is loud and just never seemed right. Well today it just up and quit without any warning. It has been right at 3.5 years since we purchased it. I am extremely disappointed!
