Same fire box as everyone else

Well.. wow, I am in there with everyone else this year. Unfortunately mine started sparking and actually started a fire this week inside. Luckily my wife saw it and quickly hit stop!
I am disappointed as my house has all matching GE appliances new in 2017. Now I cannot find a replacement and have no microwave. Boo for this obvious manufacturer defect!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sparked and burnt the inside like everyone else

Same fire hazard issue as many others. It sparked near the waveguide cover and left a burnt spot. This microwave should be recalled and I’m disappointed it didn’t last longer. I’m a bit upset that there isn’t a replacement that will fit in the same built in area with the trim kit we have.

Under normal usage, the microwave began to spark and flame. It is a fire hazard. I have a photo but was not able to upload in “add images”

There was sparking and fire from the microwave, good thing wife was around to shut it, else it could have been a serious fire issue

NEEDS TO BE RECALLED!!

I thought I was the only one with the microwave catching on fire until I read theses reviews. This is definitely a manufacturer defective!!
THESE MICROWAVES SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECALLED YEARS AGO!
Very poor management on GE's part.
Check out the attached pictures. Not normal.
