The microwave cooks very well.
Sometimes the buttons are hard to operate. For example you can not just put food in and select 30 seconds, some times you have to cancel the settings.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good so far, but no manual?

Thus far this microwave has behaved very well for us. The cabinet buzzes a bit when heating, and the reheat function is not as perfect as reviews have said, but it seems a good solid microwave. The only complaint is GE not including a printed manual with the unit. Yes it's nice to have online, but when you're in the middle of dinner and busy cooking etc., it's really annoying to have to wash up and go to the computer, then search to find out how to use your new microwave. This is supposed to be a top of the line unit, and its price reflects that. Not shipping a printed manual is the wrong way to save money IMO.

I had the last Profile Microwave which finally died after 10 years...Loved the features and reliability of GE products....so just bought the replacement model.
So far it has not been a disappointment.

Looks great. Makes a squealing noise when in use and when you open the door before time is finished it gives an error message.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

just as in the title i have not found any issues wioth this unit. i really like the hit one button for however many minutes you want it to cook. it's quick and simple.
