A Big Disappointment

The control buttons are very confusing, the "reheat" feature has burned stuff frequently and the warning button when something is done is barely audible

I bought my microwave in Sept 2014, when I picked it up it was damaged so it had to be replaced, when I got the second one home in Dec 2014 the turn table wouldn't turn so it was replaced. The third microwave only took two months to get, instead of three months, put it has had two service calls because of noises. This is so unfortunate because I bought it in the new slate color to match the rest of my kitchen appliances. If it didn't match all the other appliances I might just throw it in the trash and buy something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this microwave as part of a replacement of all of our kitchen appliances. We went with GE for the quality as well as the color (slate). My wife an I are very happy with the results.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Takes up a lot of wall space for such a small oven. Performance is as expected from an 1100 watt microwave.

Great microwave, not so great trim kit

I just installed our replacement GE microwave. While it looks great and works just as well as the old one, we don't like how the trim kit looks. It leaves gaps at the top, bottom and sides. The old trim kit (12 year old GE Profile microwave) was made of metal, not plastic, like this new one. It did not leave gaps either. When you view the microwave from the side, it just doesn't look as good as the old one. But, if you are just using it as a countertop microwave, I would give it 5 stars.
