Needed a space saver microwave and GE is the only one that fits our spot and still gives us some good wattage.

We bought this for our new build and it is on a shelf and looks built in. We think it's just perfect and especially like that it has so many food settings for reheating left over food!

Excellent microwave

I bought two weeks ago. I installed it under the cabinet.
Only thing I do not like is that the holes on top are does not match with the previous model. I drill new four holes to install under the cabinet. It took two hours for me for the installation.

I bought this microwave to replace my old microwave (a twelve-year-old version of the same GE microwave - JEM31SF1SS). So, I expect this new unit will last until 2028.

Has normal amount of features. Door latch feels weakly made; only time will tell. Way too expensive for the size and features. Slightly tippy with the door wide open.

GE used to make a much nicer microwave oven in this size. I was stuck replacing it with this model and I had to order a custom trim kit.
