fit a small space

This is the 3rd one we have purchased. We moved to our house in '06, have a small space, have no other option. Seems to be a very delicate microwave. They don't make them like they use to!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too early to comment on the over-all performance since we just installed this new microwave. The programmed cooking features are pretty extensive for a small microwave. It includes a cooking platter that turns as food is being cooked so you just set the program, turn it on and it takes care of everything - including even heating / cooking. It has a nice contemporary look to it and fits right in with the other stainless appliances.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as good as last GE microwave

I bought this GE microwave to replace one of the same size and power, just the previous model. This one is much noisier than the last. Touch pad buttons are less sensitive, often have to be double or thriple touched. The kitchen timer function beeps only once when complete, we have found it does not draw your attention when you're busy and food burns. I will be shopping other brands when time to replace.

Perfect size

We built a new house and going with double wall ovens and a gas cooktop I hemmed and hawed about were to put the microwave. I thought about how we use it and this is the perfect size. And it has my favorite Potato feature. It comes with a beautiful trim kit and it looks great!
