Lower Quality than the profile I replaced.

I needed too replace my original Profile II sensor that was purchased with all the other GE Profile kitchen products when we built our house. This recommended replacement is of lower quality seems almost tinny if you will. It fit the space we had beneath the cabinets and between two other longer cabinets. It looks good and works well enough but is louder durning use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I HAD A GE PROFILE MICROWAVE AND LOVED IT. THIS NEW REPLACEMENT IS NOISEY AND BUTTON TO OPEN IS HARD TO PUSH. SINCE I NEEDED THIS SIZE, I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE. VERY UNHAPPY!!

This unit was suggested when we remodeled our kitchen and it has been great. Looks really nice built-in, couldn't be easier to use and does everything you would hope a microwave would do.

Fits the space

We have a very small space in which to fit our microwave. We previously had the same model, but 15 years ago, they made them just slightly smaller than they do today. The new one fits the space and works well. My only disappointment is the new version is lower wattage and therefore some things take a little longer to cook.
Other than that, no complaints. I just hope this one last as long as the prior one.
