Pro's;
1) it fits in the same space as the previous version of this microwave. Dimensions match perfectly

Con's;
The commands on the command panel are not backlit. Makes it difficult to see and select. sometimes we hit "timer" instead of "cook time", or vice versa.
The "reheat" options are completely a mystery. There is no explanation of the various options and the names of the options are not recognizable in most languages. We have downloaded and read the description in the user manual. Still a mystery.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great but touchpad not illuminated.

I bought this microwave to replace a similar one I purchased about 15 years ago, and mostly because it fits into the built-in space in my cupboard. However, the touchpad does not illuminate and it is VERY hard to read the buttons.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect size

The GE Space Saver is the only microwave that has a good cabinet width and does not stick out beyond the cabinets when mounted under a cabinet. Perfect to mount above our coffee station when we remodelled our kitchen. We no longer wanted a big microwave above our stove. This allowed us to open the area above the stove for better ventilation and updated look. Microwave works great and can turn table can be turned off with large items.

Not a great microwave

This came with our new house and I would instantly trade for my OLD microwave if I could. This has to be slammed to close, making a lot of noise. There is no start button, which I miss. Whatever time you pick, is the start button. I just don't care for such shortcuts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Underpowered, but fits my small, urban kitchen

Bought this to replace its 11-year old predecessor. This model has slightly less power than the last, but it should fit in the same space, which is a relief for my small San Francisco kitchen. Couldn't find any other brand in this size with comparable wattage. Works fine.

Compact Microwave Oven

Nice compact microwave. But this is my third one in 11 years. The first two lasted about five years each and then, in both of them, the interior paint flaked off, some of it ending up in the food. I expect that the same will happen with this one but GE is the only company that makes this size so I'm stuck with it.
