Extremely quiet

We are very pleased with the controls, overall appearance, and how very quiet the unit is. We have not noticed any delay in cook time, but have only used for limited heating. We were going to hang to the bottom of the cabinet but decided not to. We felt that we would prefer to have the extra space on top of the microwave itself. Since the microwave is cabinet depth there is a lot of nice space in the front when you pull something out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this to replace my other GE microwave that died after 13 years. I am happy with the oven except for the new button design. They are harder to push and less responsive. The door opener button is also harder to push.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Undermoubt inconsistency

This is my third microwave of the exact same model in15 years. Our first one died after 6 years and now we are changing over to Stainless appliances. Since we mount ours below the cabinet unfortunately each microwave has had different location of the mounting holes and thus the interior of my cabinet has multiple holes. It would have been a much nicer experience if with each microwave we could just mount it with ease. Instead each time we have had to drill new holes in our cabinet. Come on GE. Consistencey would be appreciated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does the job

I was unable to find any microwave to replace my built in that died. I settled for this counter top because it was close in dimensions. The only problem is that the interior is much smaller than my old model. The turntable is about half the size. It still does the job and I'm happy with it's performance.

GE COUNTERTOP MICROWAVE

Purchased this particular microwave for size accommodation. However, the performance has failed. We had the original unit repair, then replaced and we are having problems with the second unit. We are waiting for a repair person to check out the microwave for performance. If unable to repair, we will be returning the unit.
