Not as good as my previous one.

I am disappointed in my new microwave. First of all I have to push the buttons very hard to get the to work. It got very hot the other day when I popped popcorn. I am going to try it again and may be calling service dept. It also fits so close that the door does not open well. I have had two previous GE microwaves and have not had a problem until they died.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Somewhat disappointed

This is our second GE microwave. Unlike the first one, the letters on the panel are harder to see and the door isn't as solid. We are getting used to the different heating strength of the new microwave. Other than that the microwave works as designed. I do wish in the future, that the template for our undermount stays the same to avoid additional holes in the cabinet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not a good replacement for JEM31BF01

I bought this microwave oven as a replacement for my GE JEM31BF01 microwave oven that stopped working. This was the only microwave I could find that fits in the same over-the-counter space (it has the same dimensions as my previous unit).
The problem is even though they are both rated for 800W, the new unit has significantly lower cooking/heating performance. For example, a bag of popcorn that used to take 1:45 in the previous unit takes over 3 minutes.
I ordered a replacement unit because I thought it was faulty, but the replacement works the same.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Turntable an issue

The turntable does not stay in place and it comes off the cheap support. Have to turn off the turntable every time we use it. The support of the turntable is very cheaply made. Would not recommend!☹️
