Replaced product that failed

It's ok, but a lot more expensive than the one it replaced (similar, but not exact PEM model). Also, more complicated to use and the status messages it displays are not as crisp and clear. The PEM product it replaced was easier to use and the lack of a manual paper manual was a hindrance (had to call to order one).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our microwave was about 10 years old and quit. We got the new one and I love it. It's much quieter than the old one. Also larger inside.

OK BUT NOT GOOD

Takes too long to heat food.
Can’t hang from cupboard because screw holes are not symmetrical.
With door open it is front heavy and tips forward.
Control panel has no lighting so cannot see in dim light.
Seems like a cheaper flimsier version of the one it replaced.

After 15 years, I had to replace my other GE Profile microwave. It is a great basic microwave. The only thing I don't like compared to my old GE is the timer function - it beeps once, so if you are not in the room you don't know that it went off. The old one would continue to beep until you turned it off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This one replaced my old one, that died after years of service.
I like the interior more than the last one. Thank goodness at 12" depth is still made!

The microwave completes the set of GE profile (slate) appliances that we bought, and we are very happy with it. It works well, and we just love the way it looks in my kitchen!
