Great for space saving!

This microwave is amazing! We had one for years and when it was tome to be replaced we got another one just like it! It mounts underneath you cabinet so that you don’t lose counter space. In a galley kitchen, like we have, that’s essential! Additionally it had some great features like sensor cooking! Wonderful for taking the guess work out if defrosting or warming up leftovers. Can’t say enough about how great this microwave is!

Saves Space, Great Features!

This microwave is amazing! We had one for years and when it was times to be replaced we got another one just like it! Mounts underneath your cabinet, which is great for saving countertop space. Has sensor cooking for taking the guesswork out of warming leftovers and defrosting frozen items. Would highly recommend this model.

Good size but average function

This is our third GE microwave of this model. We purchased it because the dimensions fit our counter and also it accommodates large Pyrex dish. However each microwave has only lasted 5 years and then heating element fails despite having a surge protector on our. Outlet. Also the oven function for potato and vegetable does not cook product completely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Bobb27 - Thanks for your loyalty! All microwaves have a varistor that protects the control system from powerline surges. There is no need to add an additional surge protector to the line unless you just prefer to do so. Nice updated features, but door latch is fragile.

This microwave replaces a former edition. Great update on features, however I am concerned that the door latch is fragile and will fail long before the useful life of the microwave.

So far, my new GE microwave has proven so accurate! Instructions for frozen foods are spot on, unlike my previous machine. I hadn't realized microwaves were even supposed to mirror those instructions!

Perfect for small spaces

When I redid my kitchen, the contractor mismeasured the space where the built in microwave was supposed to go! This left me with just about a single choice of units that would fit- hence this one! I purchased the original 11 years ago and it just died and, not seeing any good reason to do otherwise, I replaced it with the exact same oven. I love the one touch features as well as the add 30 seconds feature. My largest plates don't turn because they are square but otherwise, the perfect microwave for us.
