Went on for a few seconds now nothing works. No power to the unit.

Closing the door wakes up the whole house!

The microwave is ok but it is extremely loud to close the door.

If you find that your microwave door closes loudly or is harder to close than your previous model, the difference in the door noise is due to a firmer spring in the door latch; this is a normal condition for the microwave. We needed a microwave that wasn't too deep to fit in a wall cabinet and this one is just right! With the built-in trim kit, it looks much more expensive than it was. Just the right amount of features. Just wish it was at least 1000 watts.

Not as good as the old model

The geniuses at GE took a pretty good small microwave and made it less smart, harder to install, and plenty expensive. As they are the only provider in this size, you are stuck with whatever they give you, and it ain't much, but I was able to at least get the old microwave off the kitchen counter. I can't believe no other manufacturer wants to get in the 1.1 cubic foot market.

Keypad difficult to see

This is my 3rd spacesaver/profile microwave oven, in 20 years. 1st one purchased 2003, replaced 2012 with same model. I liked the features on #2 the best, it also appeared to be of better quality. #3 is tinny, no solidity to it, I don't think the latch will last long. The keypad is difficult to see, so we have to keep a flashlight by it. Not the quality I expected from GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE microwave

This is our second purchase of this model to replace a built in unit. The first unit developed an electrical problem. I did not explore a repair due to my fear of a possible house fire.
This unit has adequate size and power for a home kitchen application. My wife “loves it.” The controls are easy and simple. The glass plate included is durable. It is attractive and complements our other black colored appliances.
