Replaced our previous GE which was approx 11 years old. New one looks great with all the same features. Only thing I didn’t like was it took a new trim kit which was an added expense, and I liked the old look better!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The only unit that kinda fits

The GE profile 1.1 Cu. Ft. countertop Microwave is the only model that will fit in cabinets that were custom made to contain this type of unit. In their infinite wisdom, they decided to change the dimensions and make the current unit about a half inch taller. This has caused many ALOT of installation issues. I am not sure GE cares.
Because its a new model, they HAD to do something to differentiate it from the older version, so they messed with the buttons, functions and features. Tweaking them slightly. Alas, in a negative way.
I prefer the older unit.
I guess, the only good thing I can think of is that at least they still sell this model which kinda has the same footprint as the old. So hold your nose, pay a bit more, retrofit your kitchen, and then come here on line and try to come up with a review.

So quiet

Difficult Installation

Seems to work just fine. The challenge with this microwave, and probably every other built-in microwave, is installing it into a tight space by hanging it from screws. Would have been great if the manufacturer would provide some form of template for placement of screw holes above the microwave cabinet.
