This unit was perfect for our built-in location. We also bought the trim kit. The base pan and rails are well designed and extremely easy to install. From start to finish, it took less than 30 minutes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

An average microwave - not very powerful. Reheat sensor is not very accurate.

Replacement for my GE ZEM200SF...not as good.

I needed a replacement for my 10 y/o GE Profile Monogram ZEM200SF (built-in with GE trim kit) which was starting to malfunction. This replacement (PEM31SF...) is of lower quality...the door seems looser, less precise, clunkier when opening/closing. I alsp purchased the recommended GE trim kit, which has wider gaps around the edge of the door, unlike the ZEM MW and trim kit I owned previously. If it hadn't been for the need for an exact/similar size to fit my customer cabinet depth opening, I might have chosen another model. And oh, by the way, the touchpad buttons seen a bit wonky...I might call in a week or two to register a service call, or return if no improvement. (I've only had it 4 weeks so far.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
