Don’t buy this microwave

I’ve had about three of this same model of GE microwave over a period of 20 years. Great microwave for a great price. Over the years there have been small design changes until now. Now I can’t read the new display. It is too faint. Which makes this product nearly useless. Leave good enough alone!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good replacement for the old Spacemaker

Just received this, but find the control board panel more difficult to read than my previous model. Like the new sensor feature, but the panel should’ve been either lighted or a bolder font used!

Represented as a replacement for original GE Profile. This is not the case, as the dimensions are not the same which required a removal of and changing the wood cabinetry around it. In addition, the original GE profile curve design has changed which now does not match the other GE appliances in the kitchen. And last but not least, the internal dimensions also have changed which has led to a smaller turning plate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems to work fine but several things are negatives: dark window means you cannot see in, have to push hard to activate latch to open door, touchscreen does not light, inside small compared to outside dimensions. Had to buy this model to replace prior due to size.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wish you'd make one in this size as we mount under cabinet that has nicer features and less cheap. Writing on the buttons is too small for older folk to see with poor vision. Last GE Profile we had was a bit better.

We needed a microwave with very specific dimensions & this was one of our only options. So far, it is great! Looks very sleek, works well, no complaints at all,
