GE Profile Microwave

Great Microwave this is my second GE Profile Microwave, Had my old micro wave for 12 years and it is still going strong,,,Reason for getting a new one is that my kitchen is getting renovated and I need a larger on for the area it will be going.
My old microwave has been donated to my son's school they were in desperate for a new microwave. I love GE Profile products!

Perfect Fit

We replaced a similar GE Microwave after several years of everyday use. The old door was getting quite grungy, so time to replace. My microwave was mounted under a 24" cabinet which is smaller fit than most microwaves. The old microwave measured 23 3/4" wide so it fit fine in the space. I was a bit worried when this one was visibly wider. I measured and it was exactly 24". It fit more snuggly in the space, but no problem getting it in. In fact, it was a more perfect fit than the old one.
Even though the old unit was a similar GE model, the mounting holes were not in the same place, so I had to drill new holes in the bottom of the cabinet to mount it up, which left extra holes. It was nothing a little wood filler couldn't cover up.
I have used it a few times and noticed it runs quieter than the old model and I like the LED lighting.

Good size

A good sturdy microwave with ample room for a.large plate or casserole dish. The one feature that really is an inconvenience, is the fact the number dial is not lot up like the previous model. I never realized till now how many times I had used the microwave in a semi dark kitchen, and could always see the numbers...now I can't

Failing after only 3 years

I bought this microwave in 2018 when we were remodeling our kitchen because it was the only one that had a shallow enough depth. I was happy with the performance until now, only 3 years later, and of course out of warranty, one of the elements on the digital display has failed. Not sure what can even be done about this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for Counter Space

I mounted it under the kitchen cabinet without too much trouble... I even did it by myself, but recommend 2 people. Perfect size for 2 people. The only con I have is the price... but it’s unusual dimensions mean higher costs. No choice.

Love the power in a small Microwave
