Good replacement for old microwave

Our last microwave lasted almost 20 years and we were able to find the latest version - just in stainless. It's much quieter and has the rotating plate. It's a great improvement over the old one. This is just the right size for our kitchen and we were hard pressed to find anything else that fits our tiny space. Great value and quality in this product.

Poor upgrade PFM31DF2BB

Our microwave oven was a replacement to an earlier model, same line, same size, same appearance. Was installed under a cabinet. We discovered only after this installation that the control buttons do not light up. Our previous GE unit included back-lit numbers and buttons, and now the new unit does not. We consider this a very poor choice, if only because we must turn on the kitchen ceiling light to read the numbers and buttons. Bad design in a newer mode.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet; controls not intuitive.

Our last microwave was the exact same model. This one is NOT as easy to use- controls are more complicated and not intuitive. Manual is of no help in this area either. If you’re going to change things, please give good, detailed instructions.

Extremely Noisy!!

There must be something wrong with this microwave which we just purchased and installed. It is very noisy. Not sure its working correctly because of this. What do I do?

Perfect size for counter

We’ve purchased this model microwave before due to it’s size that fits perfectly on the countertop leaving usable space in front. It’s not as powerful as other mid-size microwaves, but we’ve found the power to be just right.
