Best replacement for discontinued PEM31DM3BB

If you want to replace your old built-in PEM31DMBB Profile oven, this countertop is as close you will get to the same dimensions, albeit about an inch taller. With all the same features and controls as the older built-in (that required a trim), this countertop should fit in the same built-in alcove as the old one. You may have to jury-rig your own trim to cover a larger space at the top...but there are many options to do this. Only complaint: the control panel is more difficult to read than the old Profile, which was very easy to read.

REPLACEMENT

GE microwave failed and we wanted a replacement to fit where the old one was installed.
after checking dimensions I found GE still produced a microwave that would fit. Only 2 mounting holes had to be drilled to install

the microwave is fine, but your optional trim kit is not well designed. there is to large a gap around the oven. i had to return it and order a custom trim kit which looks and fits much better. it was made by a company called microtrim
