Good fit

When our 14 year old GE low profile microwave died, we were pleased to find out GE still makes it albeit a little bigger. It still fit in our custom cabinet but it required a new trim kit. This model does not seem as substantial as our old one but it looks good and fits well. Easy install.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It was expense. Doesn’t have the strongest power and the door open latch is awkward.

It is best to open the door by pressing the center of door latch release. When pressing in areas off center and further from center, the door latch is more difficult to operate. Product looks nice

Works good, just loud metal noise when you open or close door. I'm used to the model I had to replace (PEM31SM) the door wasn't noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced Model of the Same Series

Replaced older model that began to have issues. Was a custom cabinet install. This model has mounting holes in different locations and was slightly taller. Required some modifications but otherwise was a flawless install. Only complaint is the "beep" on the timer. Only beeps once unlike the older version that beeps every few seconds as a reminder. This one only beeps once. If you miss it there is no reminder.

Won’t last long

Just installed the second one. Only purchased because it was the one in the home when we purchased it. The last one was only 2 year’s old and went out. All of our other brands lasted over 10 years..

Perfect size and durability

This GE is replacing another GE microwave that was 12 years old. It is perfect for 2 and has great power and functions.

Needed a unit that would replace my 15 year old GE Spacesaver Microwave that was mounted under a cabinet. It was the only one that fit perfectly. It's not high tech but absolutely does the job.
I would recommend this to a friend!
