GE Microwave oven

Good performance and features. Only drawback is the contrast of the button lettering against the black background. Should be easier to read, so I suggest a whiter white for the letters on the panel.

I am really NOT impressed with this microwave. I renovated a home and put this microwave in my new kitchen. The door is very “tinny” and cheap sounding, for one, but that is not really that big a deal. We mainly use a microwave for the Reheat Feature. First of all, we did not receive a normal manual. So the Reheat function requires you to press the button multiple times to go through the reheat options. It is VERY DIFFICULT to decipher the reheat options on the machine. Ridiculous. Also, it does not heat well, and we find we have to keep adding time to get the food to be hot enough.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Third Unit

We have owned three of these units because they hang underneath our cupboards giving us more counter space. This is a great feature. I like the easy controls. Disappointedly they only last a year or two. I'm getting quite good at replacing the 15 amp fuse which for some reason allows it to operate for another couple of months before failing again. So in the final analysis I would not recommend this microwave to a friend.

We replaced our 15 year old Space Saver with this unit. More reheat features we are starting to understand. Surprised how quiet it is.
