The PEM is a great microwave but the JEM product was a better fit for undermounting since it protruded less.

Perfect Size

we ordered this microwave specific to our needs. We had to find an option that was built in but small enough to fit in an eye level cabinet configuration. We wanted the look of a built in but the option to still have a coffee station before and use of our countertop. This was the perfect option as we only use our microwave to reheat coffee or a plate of food.

The best low profile microwave on 5he market

We had our first version of this for over 20 years and it just needed to be replaced. The new version is a little bigger in size so we had to have our cabinet redone to accommodate it but the microwave itself is outstanding.

The door stuck and I was eventually unable to open the unit. Service very difficult to obtain, but I eventually got someone to come out and fix the problem. Poor quality control.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacement Microwave

After 12 years my built-in, under cabinet GE microwave started to hum with the light on until I unplugged it. I had to buy a new one. The new one seems to work as well as the old one used to (it's only been 2 days). The biggest difference I've found so far is the clock numbers are now white instead of green and I preferred the green because they weren't as bright.
