Quiet and Very Reliable

I had an older model of this microwave that was built into a cabinet space and was happy to see that they still made these. While described with the same dimensions, I did have to make some small changes to the cabinetry to make it fit, but they were easily made. Much much quieter than the older model, which is nice. Button placements are different, but I’ll get used to that. I hope this one lasts as long as the older model (14 years!)

Expensive but great

We have a very tight space and this is one of the few microwaves that is not tiny that fits. As microwaves seem to go it is expensive but appearance and function are great

Excellent features

we purchased this unit to replace our 22 year old GE Spacesaver Microwave. It has lived up to our expectations. The features are amazing and the quietness of the unit is great. It is only 800 watts but seems to be more efficient than the 1000 watt unit it replaced. My only dislike is that the door makes an incredible amount of noise when you close it. There doesn't seem to be anything you can do about it.

GE Profile Microwave Works Perfectly

Good replacement for my failed GE Profiled microwave. Went in easily. Installation of frame around microwave was poor at best. There should have been better instructions on what tools to use when installing frame.

Worst money spent ever. Only 800 watt with high price tag and a door that bangs. I replaced my original GE Profile for new color it still works great. This new one is junky no quality or power like old one but still high price tag if same quality. I needed this size or would never bought and kept this poor quality microwave. It does not go with my other high end appliances it’s so cheaply made.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you are noticing that your microwave door closes loudly or is harder to close than your previous model, the difference in the door noise is due to a firmer spring in the door latch; this is a normal condition for the microwave. You can lift up on the latch to feel the tension.

the size of the microwave is perfect. I do not like that you can see the fingerprints on the stainless steel, and they are difficult to wipe off.
