Looks nice and is quiet

Looks great and is very quiet. My only two complaints are
1. It's not available in fingerprint resistant SS like the rest of my GE appliaces.
2. Doesn't have an anchor or something to keep it in place when placed in a 'microwave cabinet. When we use it, it keeps walking and we have it in a cabinet where it 'just fits' so have to keep adjusting it. Annoying.

Other than that, it serves its purpose and is low wattage which I prefer. Has the features I like - express buttons and 30 sec start.

Excellent shelf mounted microwave

Love my microwave because it looks great in a cabinet opening without having to have a trim kit. If it could be slightly larger on the inside it would be even better. I have a microwave plate lid that doesn't quite fit in the inside. 1/2" more would be perfect.

Microwave Oven model PEM31SF4SS

This is an exact replacement to the same model purchased and installed 12 1/2 years ago. One of the few compact models able to fit the cabinet space - easy to operate, efficient, does not lack power for most heating requirements. Styling consistent with other appliances in the kitchen. Trust in the GE brand.

Hard to find a small and quality microwave that has all the functions. Was looking for a microwave that fits into a certain spot with all the functions and this is the only one that works.

Only One to Fit the Space

We had this model installed 9 years ago; it died 8 months ago. Because of the way it was originally installed, we had to hire a contractor to remove and replace it with the same model. (NOTE: Despite being the same model, the newer one is slightly larger and required finesse to install.) We are saitsfied with its performance so far.
