Replacement microwave oven

Microwave is out of date but found replacement GE in size for designed location. Very happy to have found the exact size needed for space.

Does not meet GE requirements

The product was to be a direct replacement for a GE built-in microwave JEM31SF01. It was not. Size was totally different from height, width and even where feet are. Did not fit internal mounting system, nor the exterior frame. Required major rework to install.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor construction compared to my former GE microwa

Doesn't seem to warm things as well as my former GE low profile which I had for 10 years. Door bangs shut instead of quietly. Can barely see the setting panel

Interior paint peeled off.

We love the look and cooking ability of our GE Profile. It is built in to our cabinetry. However, the white interior paint began to flake off rather soon (after 2 years) and now the inside looks less than appetizing. I have never used anything abrasive or corrosive on the finish to clean it. Very odd. Other than the interior finish, I like the oven and would recommend it. I've thought about purchasing a replacement but fear that the dimensions would not be the same, based on what a recent buyer stated.

Features performed as expected. It surprised me to find out, upon delivery, that the standard installation holes do not match the installt5ion template. I ordered an under the counter installation kit but couldn't use it since the template did not match. I finally installed it....but not without quite a few hours of labor.
