A decent but not outstanding produce

It fits under a 24" wide cabinet easily and does what it is supposed to do. There doesn't seem to be anything else on the market that does this. This is our THIRD one in six years. They last about 2 years then die in strange and different ways with little or no warning. Repair is very expensive, I'm not sure why. They work mostly OK but have problems with the touchpad and are sometimes inconsistent in heating. That said, they fit and they work. The mounting system requires a lot of guesswork and a NOT INCLUDED mounting bracket (which you probably don't really need. All you really need is the template which is NOT INCLUDED with the product. Sigh...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great microwave for under upper cabinets

The microwave is the perfect size to hang under a cabinet. I recommend the hanging kit not the finish kit. The microwave works well and fits a good amount of food. Our first one lasted 13 years. Second one lasted 17 months, so pay for the extended warranty just in case. But GE has fantastic customer service.

Perfect sized, sleek, and modern looking microwave

An amazing microwave, size is perfect especially hung under the cabinets. It's very sleek, clean, and modern looking. The door takes some extra effort to open and is slightly "clunky" but it wouldn't prevent me from buying it again. It also vents very well to prevent moisture buildup and it's easy to wipe clean.

Space-saving microwave

I replaced my previous 13 year old GE Spacemaker II because the enamel coating on the bottom was peeling, and I chose the same model to replace it. The clock is bigger and easier to read on the new model but the buttons and lettering are smaller. The timer only sounds one alarm which is fine when you're nearby in the kitchen cooking. I wish there were a choice to make the alarm sound continuous or one sound. Other than that, the microwave suits my needs for heat ups and smaller meals.
