Disappointing Replacement

This product performs as expected. It replaced an older model with the same built-in dimensions, so there was no real choice to be made. The timer function is basically useless as it rings one time and turns itself off. This is not what the owners manual states, but after speaking to a GE representative, was told this is an improvement. The keyboard has changed very little in 16 years, but the light is so low that a flashlight is needed to see what the symbols represent. When using a program such as popcorn. indecipherable characters are displayed. When I have another 2 hours to waste, I will contact GE about this.

Bought this to replace our 13 year old GE microwave. Mainly bought it because we wanted one that hangs under the cabinet so there is more counter top space.
Microwave works great. It's hard to read the button selections on the front, Would give it a 5 if you could read the front panel better.

Good microwave, but the mounting holes did not match up with the mounting holes of my old GE microwave. Would be nice if GE had standard mounting holes for easy installation if you need to get a new one.

Great size microwave

I'm accustomed to having the microwave over the stove, but during my kitchen renovations, it was moved to be near the refrigerator and coffee maker. It is just the right size and is convenient to everything we like to heat up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Attaches under cabinet

I chose this microwave because I had the option to attach it under the upper cabinet. To do this I had to purchase an additional bracket to make this work and this was easy to install. The microwave works great but it is more expensive than comparable models.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
