Great space saving microwave.

This is our second purchase of the GE Space saver microwave model PEM31SF4SS. If you’re looking for an excellent microwave that fits in a small space please consider this option. Great quality and looks great.

I gave 4 stars because of price. All other 800 watt microwaves are a lot cheaper. But if you want to hang it under a twenty four inch cabinet it’s the only one that works. So they wack you over the head with price. It is my second one and works as expected

Out with the old...

Bought this as a replacement for a GE Profile Space maker. Beyond all odds, my old GE Profile was 20 years old. Can you believe that? Seriously. Twenty years old! Manufactured Oct/2003. And truly it still worked but the door latch started acting strange last November 2022. We kept it on hospice until just last week, November 2023. I hope the new one can be half as amazing. It is almost the same size, but enough different we can't use the old built-in adapter/trim. Bummer. It's quieter, sleek and has a familiar key pad. So far, I like it a lot.

Our old micro broke, the new ones. Are all much larger, only GE could provide us with the right size to fit in the existing space in the kitchen, and it works beautifully

Only microwave that fits our space!

Our GE Profile™ 1.1 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave Oven is perfect for the built-in space we have. It is not the most powerful microwave on the market but re-heats food and beverages very well and we use it for something at most every meal. This is the 3rd GE Profile Microwave we have had in the space since we remodeled in 1992. We would rate it higher - except for its price. It is a bit expensive compared to other microwaves with similar power -- but the size is perfect for us.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this unit itself was not the exact dimension as the previous GE profile and when opening the door it rubs the cabinet, the materials are not the same quality as the other and the control panel buttons are in a different location.
Over all, it works great and is very quiet.
