GE Profile design (long width/short height) fits nicely in 24"w x 12"h cabinet cutout for custom built-in look. Easy to use control pad. Quiet operation.

Great Practical Microwave

We needed specific microwave with specific dimension so we were very limited. Most of the microwave with these external dimensions are smaller in cubic size. This microwave exceeded our expectations. It fits (built in) nicely in the designated space and blends with the rest of the kitchen. On the practical size it ticks all the points. It is very efficient and heats food quickly and efficiently through and through.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet and Efficient

We have had our microwave about one month. It is sleek and attractive in our kitchen, and it works very well. Food is heated quickly. The size accommodates any of the dishes we want to use in the microwave.

Inadequate installation guide online

GE should upload detailed installation requirements so that the cabinetry and the installer can be versed on what is required BEFORE opening up the actual appliance box.
It is just common sense to provide as much information as possible so that the installation goes smoothly.

Fragile Turntable

The look and functionality of the microwave are excellent and it fit the tight space we had to replace an old model GE Spacemaker microwave. One significant issue is that the glass turntable cracked at its edge less than 1 month after installation when a plate knocked it quite softly; poor quality glass used.

The product works well and looks nice. Fit and finish of the product are good. This microwave replaces the exact same model -- WHICH FAILED IN 2 years!!! The rating of 4 stars is conditional. If this microwave fails in 2 years like the identical previous GE Microwave, we will change our rating to ZERO STARS.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great In-counter Microwave

We originally had this microwave installed 7 years ago and now had to replace it as it stopped working. We were so happy to learn that GE has continued making the exact same microwave. We picked it up at a local appliance store and installed it ourselves and were able to use the original trim kit. Thank you GE!

Nice Small Microwave

This microwave was purchased to replace another GE Spacesaver microwave we purchased back in 1996. The old microwave was still working perfectly but the metal insides were starting to show signs of wear. Our new Spacesaver microwave worked perfectly right out of the box. It is very easy to use, and we love some of the features, such as being able to turn the turntable on and off and the 30 seconds of extra cook time button.
I would recommend this to a friend!
