This is our second PEM31SFSS, first one still going strong. This one is being used in the lower level. Both get equal usage. Never had a problem.

New Model Many Years Later

We purchased an earlier version something like 11 years ago - and replaced with this one recently due to paint peeling inside the old one.
This one is:
1) slightly larger
2) much quieter
3) except for the door which always has a loud “cheap” sound to it when opening and closing

We like the slate grey/black finish and cupboard depth size.
It seems to perform well - except I noticed when popping 2 bags of popcorn one after the other: The first bag came out great while the second bag left many kernels unpopped
