Its a great microwave because it fits in the location it's suppose to. I got the original microwave about 15 years ago, but it broke down, The new once is like the old one but a little better.

Not a GE Spacemaker II

It's a nice product, but the instructions are delinquent. If you don't buy the cabinet mounting kit at the same time, you are going to be frustrated. There is no mounting template with the unit. Overall it's a low wattage device good for heating a cup of coffee. The price is on the high side.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Designated as replacement for earlier model, but it's taller by roughly ½ inch. That made it too tall to fit in the "slot" in our cabinetry. Had to take apart cabinet trim to fit it in. Inside area is smaller.
Now it's in but turntable motor (or bearings) make noise.
