Dislike the timer

I had a GE microwave for 15 years and it worked great. When it quit working I Replaced it with this model. The timer is worthless. It beeps and turns off rather than continuing to beep until you turn it off like the previous model. If you step out of the kitchen you don’t hear the timer go off

When remodeling our kitchen, our designer recommended this unit - smaller than our original but every bit as functional. We have all the features we expected and it’s now built into our new wall of cabinets.

The previous microwave was a GE Spacemaker that was over 30 years old. It still worked but certain options worked occasionally. When purchasing this microwave it fit perfectly into the area. Thank you for a great product that proves it will last many years.

Poor Longevity

I bought one only 3 years ago and had to replace it today. While satisfied with performance, that is very poor workmanship to only get 3 years out of the product. I only purchased again due to the trim package already installed. Let’s hope this one survives a few more years!

While we understand the importance of an appliance operating for an extended amount of time, it is not possible to determine the product failure rate, lifespan, life expectancy, or life cycle of an appliance. There are multiple variables involved such as frequency of use, type of use, location of appliance, care, and maintenance. We are however confident that this replacement unit will serve you well for many years to come!

Broke after less than a year and settings and door latch didn’t work well in the meantime
