New Microwave Definite Upgrade

Our 18 year GE microwave finally died. Where can you find a 12 x 24 by 12 deep microwave to fit perfectly in our cabinet? GE. This newer model is sleeker, quieter and more powerful. Happy all around.

This is a replacement for an older model of the GE Profile microwave. This newer model looks very cheap and poor quality. Also takes longer to warm up food! Very disappointed with this newer model.

The footprint of this microwave fit under a counter where an initially purchased microwave did not. Not only is the product sleek and refined in appearance it is a powerhouse in delivering all the options needed to accomplish any type of cooking task. Love it

Inferior to its predecessor in nearly every way

Replaced a 17 year old SpaceMaker II with this microwave, which is inferior in every way.
* The screw holes don’t line up, so you’ll be drilling new holes in your cabinet to hang it.
* It has two-thirds the power
* It’s smaller on the inside
* It’s ever so slightly larger on the outside, which makes installing it an exercise in scratching the sides of your cabinets with the screw poking out of the right side
* The timer beeps but one time, and then is silent forever; better not miss it!

very disappointed!

Door very hard to close. You have to hold the microwave with one hand to avoid pushing all over the place. Also, settings pad does not light up and the print on it is very difficult to read in low lighting. And finally, some settings don't seem to always take. Really disappointed.

Microwave safe dishes cracking

Hi, we've purchased this as a built in our new home which had a kitchen renovation 5 or so years ago. Unfortunately it has cracked and broken multiple microwave safe dishes we had no problems with in our prior home microwave for many years. What is going on?

Works whenever it feels like working.

The “sensor” feature makes it impossible to use consistently. I can’t re heat my coffee because the oven will start, but without power. There have been times when I have to put an additional cup of water along with the food I want to reheat. Even after adding items to the oven, it might or might not work.
