Replaces existing under cabinet unit

So far, we like the new unit, which replaced our Spacemaker II microwave that we had for ten years. But, this new unit has not yet been installed. Praying that it fits the existing under cabinet space….since new unit's dimensions have changed! I don't like the fact that the numbers/lettering is so much lighter than old unit. Hard to see. Plus don't like the placement of the 'timer on/off' function…too close to 'time cook'. Will take some getting use to. However, does a good job reheating leftovers, which is our primary use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Has broken 3 times in 18 months

I replaced a previous GE microwave that had lasted over 12 years with this model. It is in between some cabinets so my options to fit into that space are limited. My third microwave of this model just broke. Twice it happened under warranty so once it was repaired and then ABT gave me a new one the second time but now my warranty is up. Very disappointing for the cost of the unit to have it only last just over a year and all the headaches it has caused.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DISSAPOINTING: Broke 3x's, in less than 2 Years

This microwave stopped working 3 times, within 21 months of purchase [May'21], and all 3 times within the last 4 months. Power issues...Simply awful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Swapped Microwave

Evidently the microwave we wanted and had measured and had our kitchen cabinets made to fit was no longer available and another microwave and trim kit was ordered. It does not fit. We will have to have our kitchen reworked in order to use it. In fact, there isn't a microwave to fit our space at all. This was really an expensive situation.

Bought this as a replacement for the one I previously had that quite working. The outside appearance is much cleaner than the other but seems a little smaller inside.

I bought this microwave to replace an older built-in unit (1984) and the space was very limited. The unit fit in the space with no margin, but was disappointed that the hanging brackets from the older model were not usable on this model. The newer model's screw holes were both off center. However, we made it work by bypassing brackets and screwing directly from above.
Even with this aggravation, happy with the appaerance & function of this unit.
