Good But......

I bought this to replace a Spacemaker Microwave which was a sturdy machine which GE sadly no longer manufactures. The 1.1 Profile is similar and appears to work fine with the exception that the touch control panel display is difficult to read. The contrast with the black background has decreased as the font is not as bold and perhaps a smaller size as on the Spacemaker. Whatever, it is frustrating to use.
Also, the door does not open easily requiring a more than acceptable push on the button. I do like the automatic setting for potatoes.

Quiet efficiency!

This is a replacement for our GE Monogram micro which was still going strong after 23 years. Didn't realize how quiet the new ones are. Also this one has a bit more power so my tea is ready sooner!

Well thought out appliance

We bought this model because we wanted to keep our microwave cabinet as small as possible. I was concerned that the power (much lower than the one we replaced) would require unacceptable cook times - it works fine. In fact I don't notice any increase in cook times. Defrost times are longer, however. The one touch design is really great. I am enjoying this unit more than I ever did previous ovens. It is rather expensive.

I bought this for my new kitchen, it is looks very nice! It matches all the appliances and all you need to do is press one bottom vs entering the time you need, for example instead of pressing 100 for one minute you just press one. The only thing that surprised me is the time it takes to reheat something, after two minutes food from the fridge is still lukewarm. It looks smooth but for use it was a bit disappointing.

It is not good compared to your model that I needed to replace. To instal the unit my cabinet had to be modified because the centres for the supporting screws had been changed. This was stupid. ALSO, there is no back light to the control panel which makes it very difficult to see the details.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
