This is the same as my old GE Spacemaker. It's the perfect size for our countertop. We were so happy with our previous GE Spacemaker microwave that we chose to go with the same product again.

This was a replacement for our GE Profile that served us for 19 years. It fit perfectly in the cabinet space. The features are easy to use-intuitive! Did not have to read the manual. I am tempted to buy another and save it as a replacement.

Longevity?

Our 3-year old microwave has worked great for us up to this point but has developed a foggy glass recently. I realize it comes with a Limited 1Year Warranty, but I question why buy an appliance that only lasts for a few years?

Perfect replacement

This was the only replacement model that would fit our space without reworking existing cabinets. We had to do a little sleuthing to find the right trim kit, but finally got it. Looks and works great!

Best match for our GE Over-the-Range

When we decided to remove our over-the-range GE microwave we looked for a similar GE unit that would provide the best feature match for the available space. Even though it has a lower power output than we have to become accustomed to, this unit is a good match and works well. We are disappointed that it is not a domestic product.

Over priced, low power, did not fit opening

This microwave was advertised as a replacement for the previous model. Mine is built in so dimensions were important. Unit did not fit the opening, requiring lots of modifications to the cabinet. I would not recommend this unit, could have purchased a much better unit knowing how much retrofitting I needed to do with the cabinets. 800 watt power is really low.

Low wattage, exclusive built in has to be rebought

Unfortunately we bought one of these microwaves 8 years ago when we renovated our kitchen. Being ignorant, we selected the 800 watt instead of the 1200 watt microwave. The microwave was built-in and when it failed 8 years later we learned the only microwave that will fit in the built in space is the same one. The second one seems to work worst than the first one. Popcorn that took 2 min 40 seconds to pop, now needs over 3 minutes. Food takes much longer to heat up. Stay away from this microwave
