I needed to replace my old microwave that was built into my cabinets. The replacement microwave had to be 24 inches wide. This was a perfect match for the microwave that was replaced.

Convenient "30 Second" Addition to Cook Time

I purchased this Microwave to replace a smaller GE Microwave that I had for years. This Microwave is small enough but has all the capabilities of a large Microwave. I am so glad I purchased a Spacemaker!

Fit Into Our Space So Had to Purchase This Model

Bought another GE since it fit into our space.
Would prefer the case be all stainless instead of brown metal on three sides.
Needs instant time cook buttons.
Latch to open door feels loose with too much give.
White inside top of previous oven chipped into food.GE did not make good.

I bought the profile 1.1 for my 27 in cabinet twice. The trim kit fits perfectly and the performance of the microwave is great. However, I re-purchased it because the paint inside cracked and peeled. It took about two years for this to happen, but as I said the performance was great. I am sad to report that the second one cracked and peeled inside as well. I have had it for about 2 yrs. Now I am looking for another type of microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

About the only complaint we have with our new microwave is that it doesn't seem to pop all the kernels when we make popcorn. Otherwise, it's really good!
