Adequate product with special mounting feature

I had the previous version of this model and liked it very much, but it broke down after 10 years of use. The current version has the same features, which I like very much, but it doesn't have as solid of a feel or sound when in use or when closing the door as the previous one. I got this oven because it is the only model I could find that can be mounted to hang from an upper wall cabinet. This requires special mounting brackets which did not come with the microwave, even though the oven itself had the necessary mounting holes. I had to use the brackets I already have and make adjustments.

Right Size

Only size available that fit in cabinet. Replacement for 10 year old GE Spacesaver unit that was original in our home. New unit is louder than old. Also had to replace the surround to achieve built-in look. Premium price due to size constraints and new surround. Not happy, but had no choice due to cabinet opening.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Previously had the same microwave for several years in white and remodeled
kitchen and want stainless. GE also has the trim kit which makes it a very
nice looking product.

I bought this microwave to replace one that I had for five years. The only reason I had to replace it was because I ran it with nothing in it. My mistake. It is a very good product.

Custom Fit - Smart controls

We bought this four months ago and used it while our kitchen was being remodeled and now have it in its custom cabinet flush with the rest of our cabinets. It cooks potatoes and vegetables perfectly with the push on one button. It reheats sensing the food until its just right. It's smarter than I am!
